Десетки граждани се събраха в центъра на София на протест пред Френското посолство с настояване две български деца – Айлин (8 г.) и Айджан (10 г.) – да бъдат върнати на родителите си и да се приберат в България. Демонстрацията бе организирана от Сдружение РОД Интернешънъл и БРЦК с подкрепата на редица обществени организации и медии.
Какъв е случаят
Според разпространената информация децата са изведени от семейството си във Франция и от 1 февруари 2024 г. са настанени в приемна грижа. Братът и сестрата са разделени в различни приемни семейства, въпреки съдебно становище да бъдат заедно. Родителите имат ограничени контакти с тях, като по време на срещите разговорите се провеждат единствено на френски език.
По думите на организаторите това води до прекъсване на емоционалната и езиковата връзка между родители и деца, тъй като майката не владее френски, а децата също не го използват свободно.
Исканията на протестиращите
По време на демонстрацията участниците отправиха три основни призива:
Френските институции да прекратят действията, които според тях разрушават семейната връзка.
Българските власти да предприемат активни дипломатически и консулски действия в защита на децата.
Айлин и Айджан да бъдат върнати при
родителите си и да се приберат в България.
Протестиращите прочетоха декларация, адресирана до посланика на Френската република в България, с настояване документът да бъде предаден на компетентните френски власти.
По-широкият обществен дебат
Според участниците случаят надхвърля личната история на едно семейство и поставя въпроси за правата на родителите, ролята на социалните служби и защитата на децата зад граница. Организаторите заявиха, че ще продължат обществените и институционалните действия, докато не получат официален отговор по случая.
Протестът приключи с обещание за нови инициативи и международна публичност, като демонстрантите подчертаха, че за тях казусът е въпрос на защита на семейната връзка и правата на българските граждани в чужбина.
Protest in front of the French Embassy in Sofia: They want the return of Aileen and Ayjan to Bulgaria
Dozens of citizens gathered in the center of Sofia for a protest in front of the French Embassy, demanding that two Bulgarian children – Aileen (8 years old) and Ayjan (10 years old) – be returned to their parents and go home to Bulgaria. The demonstration was organized by ROD International Association and BRCC with the support of a number of public organizations and media.
What is the case
According to the information spread, the children were removed from their family in France and since February 1, 2024 they have been placed in foster care. The brother and sister have been separated into different foster families, despite a court order to keep them together. The parents have limited contact with them, and during the meetings the conversations are held only in French.
According to the organizers, this leads to a break in the emotional and linguistic connection between parents and children, since the mother does not speak French, and the children do not use it fluently either.
The demands of the protesters
During the demonstration, the participants made three main appeals:
French institutions to end actions that they believe are destroying the family bond.
The Bulgarian authorities should take active diplomatic and consular actions to protect the children.
Eileen and Ayjan to be returned to
their parents and to return to Bulgaria.
The protesters read a declaration addressed to the ambassador of the French Republic in Bulgaria, demanding that the document be handed over to the competent French authorities.
The wider public debate
According to the participants, the case goes beyond the personal history of one family and raises questions about the rights of parents, the role of social services and the protection of children abroad. Organizers said they will continue public and institutional action until they receive an official response to the case.
The protest ended with a promise of new initiatives and international publicity, with the demonstrators emphasizing,that for them the case is a matter of protecting family ties and the rights of Bulgarian citizens abroad.
